With the goal of attracting female creatives that she can help be seen and heard by their target audience, Emily knew she needed branding and a website designed with purpose. Specifically, she wanted people to feel welcome and empowered when interacting with her brand. We landed with professional yet laid back personal branding that pulls a lot from her hobbies, favs, and day-to-day life.
BEHIND THE DESIGN
After playing around with uppercase E’s within her logo, I soon realized the shape of the capital letter was too rigid for the adventurous and laid back vibe we wanted to portray through her branding. Instead, I chose to use lowercase e’s and heavily manipulated the font I started with to give a soft, simplistic feeling to each letter. The star symbol in her logo is to represent her love for adventure and the outdoors.
